Dr. Mark Medina

Mark Medina is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who has over 6 years of experience in providing clinical and evidence-based treatment to children, teenagers, adults, and families seeking assistance with a variety of presentations including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use disorders, relationships, adjustments, grief, and overall stress. Mark's professional history includes working in a psychiatric hospital treating substance use and co-occurring disorders, in an outpatient setting working with individuals, and in the community setting working with children and their families. Mark Completed his Master of Education (M.Ed) at Cambridge College specifically in the Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) program in Mental Health Counseling. He is a true believer that therapy is an art which requires constant flexibility, creativity, and patience in order to acquire the best possible outcome for those that he serves. Mark seeks to establish a …caring and trusting therapeutic relationship with you in order to work together towards accomplishing your personal therapeutic goals. He utilizes an eclectic style of treatment with person-centered care being the foundation of his approach. Mark’s collaborative style includes strength-based, mindfulness-based, cognitive behavioral, solution-focused approaches, and he strongly believes that each person is unique and therefore requires treatment tailored to that specific individual.
