Shouldn’t be in medicine, wouldn’t be adequate as a veterinarian even.

Best Pain doctor I've ever had. Dr. Meyer listens carefully and never rushes. He has placed me on the path to much less pain! His assistant, Nicki, is equally attentive and makes you feel very welcome, important and cared about. When I call in with an issue they respond very promptly and provide solutions. I had serious lower back pain that got to a point of fear and depression. With my procedure it was like turning the lights on in total darkness, my pain was gone and still is. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH !!!

Dr Meyer and his staff where very nice and professional. He and his staff treated me like a patient and not a drug seeking addict. I highly recommend him for a pain specialist. It is important to me to have a good connection with my physician and I felt that with him.

Dr. Meyer is attentive, listens well, and is very skilled. He has a direct and honest discussion about your options. He is highly recommended.

Dr. Meyer is friendly and apparently competent. He is always rushed - doesn't explain the treatment plan (if there is one) or what he thinks the issue is - except to offer injections. I was very frustrated working with the various staff members. He also needs a good office manager. It is almost impossible to get anyone to return a call - unless you tell them you want to schedule a procedure. If you happen to catch someone answering the phone they always apologize for not calling back and talk about how crazy busy they are. They also confuse your condition with other people.

I really appreciate that when I met Dr. Meyer for my scheduled appointment he got right down to business. After taking several x-rays, he quickly identified a DRG surgical device that is currently implanted in my lower back . He determined its location would not interfere with inserting a spinal cord stimulator (SCS) in a different part of my back on a trial basis. He said he was willing to do it, but since I had been referred to him by Dr. Roger Sung (Memorial Hospital North), he did not want to get ahead of himself and would need to coordinate with Dr. Sung before he scheduled surgery for me. I was impressed with Dr. Meyer's quick assessment of my condition, including his willingness to perform the surgery I was seeking to help me get better, if at all possible. My only concern is that it has been almost 2 weeks since my appointment with him and I haven't heard anything from his office, but that's okay. I will follow up. Perhaps Dr. Meyer has heavy patient caseload, but I'm… not upset or disappointed, so long as I can get scheduled for SCS surgery we discussed during my last visit with him. I'm anxious largely because I'm super excited he is willing to help me resolve the radiculopathy issues I've had for the past four years, which causes me pain 24/7 in the toes of my left foot. And quite frankly, I'm looking for the pain relief that I'm certain expertise in pain management will provide me. Even though it has only been 2 weeks since my appointment with him, it seems like 2 years to me. But that mindset on my part comes from the fact that I eek immediate pain relief and I believe he is the medical expert that will provide the relief I so desperately need, but have not found in the last 4 years of suffering. In sum, despite not getting a call from him yet, I will still rate him 5 stars because I just like his overall approach in explaining complex medical ideas in a way that make sense to me. I am equally convinced he has what it takes to finally get me some long awaited pain relief. I will follow up tomorrow and schedule the SCS retrial surgery with him...the sooner the better.

Dr. Meyer has given me injections in my neck for my 3 Disc Fusions. He and his staff are extremely caring and compassionate. I do have another provider that does other injections and care but am transferring all my care to Dr. Meyer.

Dr Meyers was an awesome Doctor when I lived in Colorado Springs approximately 3 to 4 years ago....I never had a problem with him not once. His staff and others were really nice. I do not understand when people can not get their way withheld Doctor then they want to bash them, dr Meyers stayed professional the entire time he treated me!

He try's hard to get an accurate diagnosis but U.S. Chronic disease people r complicated. He does seem to really care about your pain but is honest about the reality of the situation. Make appointment for follow up after tests or his PA does a great job at this too.
