Dr. Mark R. Mikles, MD

I arrived on time and I had to wait for 10-15 minutes to see Dr.Mikles. The nurse was very friendly and a good listener. Dr. Mikles has a great personality and he is quick with diagnoses and a plan of action.

Dr Mikles is great at reviewing and explaining my MRI images. He listens and answers my questions. He is genuinely concerned about my health and well being.

April 30 2026 - DR.MARK R. MIKLES is a very compassionate, patient physician. I have been his patient at the Garner NC location for a few appointments. He listens to me explain my symptoms and he is quick to diagnose my condition and explains his recommended treatment. I have not been disappointed on any of my visits with Dr. Mikles. Pain management for me is one of his greatest abilities. A HUGE "thanks" to Dr Mikles and the entire staff at thr Timber Drive - Garner location. My observation while waiting for my appointment was AMAZEMENT at the number of patients coming in to be seen as a patient. Very orderly and not much wait time. And the Physical Therapy Staff at the same location is taking care of patients quickly and efficiently. Each time and after every appointment with Dr. Mikles has been very satisfying. I appreciate his helpful abilities and friendly attitude.

i’ve had back pain for many years and it wasn’t until I saw Dr Mikles that I really began to understand why. I appreciate the fact that he’s pretty conservative and doesn’t just rush you into the operating room to have back surgery. From from the first visit, he’s really taking the time to understand how I’m feeling and how the pain impacts my daily life. I’ve always had great experiences from scheduling appointments to having my vital signs taken each, and every person has been very professional and compassionate. I had my initial MRI done at emerge ortho and I was very thankful that the team was able to get my MRI access. From my perspective, they went above and beyond to do that. Emerge ortho is not easy to get medical records from and somehow they managed to get the actual MRI to view. my only regret is that I didn’t start out with this practice a year ago…. Very happy to be a patient here.

Dr Michels always listens and explains issues/ procedures well. He and his team were very thorough in preparing me for what to expect from my back surgery.

Dr. Mikles is an excellent back doctor. I had a bad bulging disk that was affecting both sides of my legs. I could barely walk and now I am walking like my old self. He saved me and I can’t thank him enough. I will never go to anyone else.
