Dr. Mark David Miller, MD

He has no regard for his patient as people. The surgery did not go well, and I never recovered from it, though I bet he still considers it a success. I've never walked correctly since, and have had pain daily ever since. When I went back with severe nerve pain two months or so later (what I know now was scar tissue around a nerve that could have been treated) he scoffed at me and shouted, "THEN GET IT ABLATED." he sent me to nerve ablation team, and they said that I was not a candidate for ablation, and should not have been recommended. At one point, he was yanking on my leg without telling me he was going to, and I asked him if he could let me know before doing movements, and he huffed, sat in a chair, and crossed his arms and would not speak to me while the other student doctors in the room watched. I could have had a good knee had he listened and followed up about complications. But he did not. It's really sad that he's still practicing and has not changed his bullish, arrogant,… childish behavior, and models this behavior to med students each year. Part of recovery beyond surgery is the patient-doctor conversations and care. I'd give zero stars if I could. I have had several surgeries recently on this same knee for the complications created by Miller's surgery and his lack of follow up at the time, and my new doctor listens, creates care plans, and addresses issues with recovery, instead of ignoring them.

Always polite to me and was willing to repair my ACL when other doctors in my town said I was too old. I play tennis 4 times a week and am in my 60's. He is who I trust to give me correct advice and treatment.

I had knee pain from an injury, MRI showed meniscal tear. Saw Dr Miller and in less than 15 mins he was telling me "I need surgery, sign here for consent" with very little explanation of what needed to be done. Day of surgery, my husband asked "I would like to meet the surgeon operating on my wife" A few mins later Dr Miller literally just sticks his head in "Im Dr Miller, we are ready to go now" and walks back out. Follow up appointment I am still having pain and he was curt and TOLD me, you shouldn't be having pain. He is curt, abrasive, no bedside manner at all. You are just a procedure to him. He does not care about you as an individual at all. And I am going to every doctor rating website I can find to tell people to stay away from him, and if you have had a poor experience with him, I would report it to your insurance company. They are authorizing payment of services to this person.

My 15 year old daughter saw this doctor as a second opinion. She came to him with unbearable knee pain. Dr Miller walked in sat down and brought a guy with him and didn’t even introduce himself or the other guy who I assume was a Student in med school. This is the first time my daughter went to Dr Miller and he came in and went right to her knee he started moving it around without even a warning that he was going to hurt her. She was crying saying my knee hurts when you do that and he said “yeah if you have knee pain this will hurt “ he then said “I reviewed your mri from 3 years ago and you seem fine continue physical therapy and wear this knee brace you’ll get at orthotics” my daughter tried telling him that her knee has gotten worse since that 3 year old MRI he looked at and he DISREGARDED HER COMMENT and walked out. Worst bedside manner, horrible doctor who will talk over you and won’t listen to your concerns about your body.

Horrible bed side manner. I came in with severe knee injuries and when he walked into the room to see me with a team of doctors he didn't even greet me. He just grabbed my knee and started examining without any regard to how I was screaming at the top of my lungs. Everything after that was a blur because I was still recovering from the excessive pain. The worst doctor I have ever met.

If you want to pay a ton of money to see a doctor who won't look you in the face, talks over you, and generally disregards your reason for visiting, then this guy is right for you. Instead of taking ANY time to assess my issue, he just prescribed some physical therapy and rushed out. He has a terrible bedside manner, was rude and full of bluster, and basically ignored me as a human being. I needed a shower after leaving.

I wemy to Dr. Miller after having surgeries to my knees performed by another surgeon. Dr. Miller was the only orthopedic surgeon to give me a clear, direct evaluation and analysis of my conditions, managed a path of treatment for me, and referred me to othe practitioners who were able to treat my related injuries. He is clear, direct and professional. Highly recommend!

I've had three surgery's with this doctor, and I wished that I've read his reviews first. The first surgery on my right shoulder did not go well, so I had to go back to him for a repeat. Although corrected, I'm still not 100%. My third surgery was on my left shoulder, and that two years ago. Guess what, it's worst than it was before the surgery. If you have to have surgery, don't go to Dr. Mark Miller. He is not good at all.

Dr. Miller had trouble remembering what procedures he actually did during my surgery. Even with the operation note in his hand he denied/forgot what he had done. His bedside manner and compassion for me as a patient was very poor. I would not recommend him to anyone for orthopedic surgery.
