Dr. Mark Drew Millington, MD

Was referred to Dr Millington for the extraction of 3 wisdom teeth. Wait time in their office was under 10 minutes while they made copies of insurance info. Was taken to a room where I watched a vhs video of how, why, and the dangers of having wisdom teeth removed. Dr Millington came in after that & explained my xrays to me & the potential risks & dangers of extraction. (wasn't any issues they saw). After explaining everything, they gave me laughing gas to help calm me while they did the IV. Was out cold until after surgery. Don't remember a lot after that but Dr Millington did give me a courtesy call later in the day to see how I was feeling. Overall great experience & no issues after surgery.

Failed to recognize, acknowledge, or treat my severe nerve damage following a dental procedure. I had procedure done by one of his partners, but saw him for followup when I had continuing problems. He made me feel like a child and kept saying "There's nothing we can do", then had his assistant show me to a side exit door, rather than allow me to wait for a ride in the waiting room. I sought care elsewhere and immediately learned I had severe nerve damage from the procedure. The nerve damage is permanent and I still take medication after several years. I feel they were all protecting themselves rather than help me get care I needed.

Unfortunately I had a terrible experience with this person. After letting him know that I was afraid of needles because of bad experiences in the past, he proceeded to mock and ridicule this fear. He said things like "a four year old handles this better than you," and "maybe you need therapy." Since then I have had panic attacks and nightmares. You do not want to visit this monster!
