DR. MURPHY HAS TREATED MY PAIN FOR A LONG TIME, THE MAN NEEDS TO BE LEFT ALONE, BY EX PATIENTS AND THE FEDS, I HAVE NEARLY EVERYBONE IN MY BODY BROKE, NO I STILL CAN'T WORK BUT DR. MURPHY HAS BROUGHT ME TO WALKING, AGAIN, HE HAS NEVER OVER PRESCRIBED NOTHING TO ME, HE IS VERY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL, BY THE BOOK, I LIKE THAT IN A DR. THAT DON'T RUN IN THE ROOM SAY 2 WORDS AND LEAVE HE SITS DOWN AND ASK YOU DO WE NEED TO LEAVE THE MEDS ALONE OR DO WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT??, I THINK THE WORLD OF DR. MURPHY AND STAFF,...THANK YOU SO MUCH DR. MURPHY

Sorry POS sends you through nerve conduction studies every time you turn around. Once you know you have carpal tunnel there is no need for a test but continues year after year with the tests. Will leave you high and dry, just ask the people from Alabama of what happened to them.

I went to Dr Murphy for yrs. Yes he was great, his staff was great but his wife has a lot of anger issues. Many times she would scream at ppl in the office, ppl are afraid of her....When I went to him seen patients come in high and he quickly changed their meds. I never mistook or sold gave away- what have you...I hurt so bad when I went to him I was suicidle. I now go to another Dr who is in the pain field (when he left) who is terrified of having that happen to him. ITS WRONG TO CAUSE THAT KIND OF DESPERATION IN PPL THAT ALREADY HAVE LOST JOY IN LIFE. THESE DRS GIVE US BACK OUR LIVES. BUT..... ON THE FLIP SIDE THERE ARE SOME WHO ARE UNSCRUPULOUS WITH THEIR MEDS.I don't know how they could stop this. I see ppl in my neighborhood who sell their meds! They can't be hurting that bad if they sell the meds.... It grieves my spirit to watch it daily... Dr Murphy DOES CHECK EVERY MONTH, BUT ISN'T THERE A TEST TO SEE IF THEY ARE TAKING IT ALL? I don't know but I hope he starts using it… soon. I'm sick of seeing it around me. I DONT THINK HE IS AWARE... All in all HE IS A GOOD MAN AND WANTS TO HELP.I PRAY GOD WEEDS OUT THE LIARS THAT SELL THE MEDS.

Says he's with UAB Alabama but not since 2016 has he had a Alabama licence.left chronic pain patients abandoned in pain with the chance of withdrawals from some of the most powerful pain drugs you can name.He is now under investigation in Tenn.There are numerous arrivals online that explain this But people seem to ignore this if all the want is the drugs.Not a sound medical plan.I was a former patient for 4years.Took me months of treatment to get off all the drugs he prescribed me.And get my pain in control

To the news first: you throw around large numbers of prescriptions that the dr writes without any simple mathematical context. If patients are required to see dr Murphy once a month-That’s 12 times a year. Most patients have multiple medicines so if there are 2000 patients 12 times a year with multiple prescriptions then 70k over 3 years is a low number. The news media just throwing the numbers out is Fake news. To the AL boards: please do a timeline of when you abruptly cut off all of dr aggerwals patients and the beginning of your 33 page complaint against Murphy. What was he and many of the other drs in north al supposed to do. Refuse patients? Aggerwal created a mess and had people on high high amounts of benzo opiate combinations and drs in the area had to deal with a lot of people all at once. Well the boards went after the dr who helped the most people which basically means you, like the current federalies, go after the easy target pain patients and not what is causing the… problems. Fentanyl. DO the math everyone. Dr Murphy does not overprescribe. He just had a lot of patients he was trying to help and many of them were all of a sudden in 2013.

When I first seen Dr. Murphy he took me of Soma's that another Dr had me on because too many people were abusing them . He is one of the most down to earth and caring Dr. I have ever had he will take time to listen to you and not rush in out of the room and he does everything by the book because if he didn't they would have done took his license and to those who complained about him refusing to see them anymore evidently you done something wrong or you would still be a patient like me I have followed the rules and I have been a patient for teen years and he hasn't refused to see me so stop blaming him for you not following the rules and take responsibility for your own actions and put the blame where it belongs on yourself

He is retiring. Talked to him yesterday. He said he has had enough of the lies.

Dr Murphy is caring dedicated physician. He does extensive consultation and makes sure you don’t abuse any medication he is dedicated to chronic diagnoses diseased patients. He does extensive test to follow how & if your medications are working well and correctly..He is one of the best if you are looking for pill mill don’t even make appt with him , he will not prescribe unless you have chronic condition.

They are very strict with their patients. Expect to be urine tested every month. You will be called in at any given time for a pill count and another urine test.

You have been writing the same comment from at least last summer...."gets you hooked on drugs" ...."all he wants is money" Tennessee medical board. Are you that angry at him? He has treated me fairly. I follow the rules. That may be the difference here.
