Dr. Mark Harris Musicant, MD

First I would like to recognize Dr. Musicants staff who are amazing ! They worked hard to get my appointment approved by WC , placed several calls and even email messages to my WC rep . They kept me constantly informed as to what the status was. Now, I have been seeing Dr Musicant for years, He is wonderful , smart, well educated, and concerned for my well being . He is not working for WC, he is a physician treating me, for the covered WC injury - he gets paid a lower rate by seeing a patient that is covered by WC , but that does not affect my excellent medical treatment, and prescriptions for that injury. I will be treated by Dr Musicant while I am in WC and I will continue seeing him after with my other insurance. He knows me. I trust him . compared to other physicians, he is clearly one of the best, workers comp or NOT.

Dr. Mark Musicant is a caring physician. Although Dr. Musicant works in a very hectic environment, he took the time to explain my medical issues to me. Furthermore, he recommended a book that he believed could be helpful with my situation. I have had disappointments in the past with Sansum physicians. Therefore, I have tried to stay away from their services as physicians. I was referred to the occupational medicine clinic so, I saw Dr. Musicant. I was pleasantly surprised. He is concerned about my pain and has good suggestions to help me with improving my condition. Moreover, he has told me to call him if I have any questions and I believe he means it. Still, I will not take advantage of his offer unless I really need to speak with him. Although Dr. Musicant is understandably rushed, he has always been available to answer my questions. If I call his office, he will call me back that day. It is really nice to know that there are still compassionate physicians out there… that actually care enough to call you back and not have their nurse or assistant do it.

This doctor works for Workers Compensation insurance companies and is unethically interfering with treatment for my legitimate industrial injuries by using inappropriate and invalid consultations. He has shown no concern at all for treating my injuries properly, he is more concerned about pleasing the insurance companies than being a good doctor and helping his patients.
