Horrible doctor, horrible person, should not be around children.

He is so bad it's dangerous, beware!

This doctor needs to stay away from children. His questions to my son were highly intrusive. I had to remind him that he is a minor when asking him questions in front of me without my consent. It is one thing to ask about how school is going, which largely is not going well for the vast majority of children right now due to the fact that they are being isolated from their peers. But it is another matter to start asking deeply personal questions about private matters like who lives in the household. He claimed that it was necessary for him to do his job but then documented his notes in the summary of our visit. His taste of questions are distasteful and represents a level of privilege and dismissive attitude towards others. I would appreciate it if he would please be mindful of how uncomfortable he makes others feel and try to avoid awkward conversations in the future.

Dr Nicks will tell you what’s wrong and be able to help you, but will also make you feel like a dip sh*t in the process. He’s arrogant and not the most personable of doctors. I’m not really sure why he went into pediatrics, I don’t think it’s suits his personality at all, but at least he seems to have decent medical knowledge. If you need a dr ASAP, go to him, just don’t expect him to respect anything you have to say.

I have never come across a doctor who is as rude as as this doctor. Could care less what the parents have to say about their sick child. Insulted me when I asked questions and made me feel stupid. No compassion whatsoever! He was in a rush, doesn’t seem to be interested in what you have to say. Run...find another doctor as soon as possible!

Thanks to Dr. Nick for taking the time to figure out my son's underlying problem. Thank you for your caring approach to my son's needs, thank you for giving him perspective. You have really helped him and you have taken a heavy load off my back. I can not thank you enough!!! Thank you for being there.

When a concerned parent brings in his/her child, the doctor should do everything to assure the parent(s) that the child is receiving the best care possible. I understand doctors probably have seen their fair share of paranoid, hypochondriac parents, but that does not give them license to patronize or dismiss their patients. Such was the case today. We took in both of our children for symptoms most doctors would find laughable, but I always say you can't put a price on peace of mind. Our daughter had abdominal pain and our son had low grade fever and vomiting for over 5 days. Concerned we took both in this morning and had to see Dr. Nicks because our PCP wasn't available. His vibe was immediately dismissive, he seemed annoyed that we had wasted his time with our concerns, and questions he posed seemed not for informative purposes but more to make us feel idiotic and ignorant. How is this guy a pediatrician?! He might be a doctor on paper, but in person, he seems very disinterested in… helping families "thrive."

Couldn't agree more with the previous review - this doctor was rude and condescending from the start for no reason. Why? To establish his superiority over parents only concerned for their young child's health. We would leave Kaiser if we had to use this guy ever again, fortunately for Kaiser that is not the case.

I will not be taking my kids to him again he was very rude and short with us when i took my son in to see him
