Dr. Mark Nyitray, DO

Just had my colonoscopy and I couldn’t ask for a better experience. Dr. Nyitray and his staff were very caring and professional. I was in and out of the office in about 1.5 hours. As usual the prep was the hardest part of the procedure. Why does the prep always taste awful?

Was Scheduled for a Colonoscopy, you need to be signed out by a third party, very clear that my ride was to be there at 12 noon. Was assured I would be done by then had a 10:30am appt. Prepped the day before, was told at 10:40 2 others still ahead of me, was told about 45min for each and for mine. Had to leave as I would have no one to sign me out, if on the paperwork if you are not signed out, insurance does not pay. He either lied straight out just to the business or just plain forgot. Plus, was told he would call me back, never did. Either way do you want to rely on type of person for your health???? He charges you $75 if you don't show for his appt but you get nothing if he breaks his appt with you. Plus I am out my time about 1 1/2 days and the cost of the prep medicine.

Dr. Nyiray is a great doctor, he always works with me and makes me feel comfortable. I definitely recommend him. He runs a small practice so it is usually easy to get appointments and he is usually on time. The office in Hicksville needs major renovations but the Plainview location is up to date.

Doctor was excellent. Not in a large group, so I was treated like a person and not a number. Whole experience of a colonoscopy was made easy. Would highly recommend.

This is an office that only cares about MONEY. I am so upset that I am writing my first review ever. You know how your insurance tells you your responsibility is after a visit or a procedure. Dr. Nyitray's office does not wait for your insurance to tell you your responsibility, they call your insurance and get an ESTIMATE and they hound you to pay before any procedure. Honestly do they think they are the only practice in town I canceled and got another doctor.

I think Dr. Nyitray is an excellent Gastroenterologist. I was always afraid of having a colonoscopy. I have had three now with Dr. Nyitray and the experience has been fear free and pain free. I highly recommend him!

Great doc. Excellent experience. Took the time to listen to me. Office was not like a factory like other offices I have been to. Highly recommend.

Dr nyitray is the best doctor I've ever been to. His bedside manner is Wonderful. I can't say enough about him or his staff, I highly recommend this doctor.
