Dr. Mark Wilson Ochs, MD

I was referred to Dr Ochs after another dentist while making my dentures after I had gotten implants left molding in my implant that caused an infection so bad I lost all my implants and it did so much damage that the dr who put in the first implants was not comfortable with putting more in. I went to see Dr Ochs. After assuring me this would not be a problem I decided to go ahead with the procedure even though it was going to be $10,000 out of pocket which I could I’ll afford. But I was only 54 had just lost my husband of 30 years and needed something desperately to make myself feel better. Dr Ochs put 4 implants into my bottom jaw. To make a long and painful story a little shorter within a year I lost one of the implants called Dr Ochs and got nowhere. The pain while an implant is loose and coming out is unbelievable the next year on Christmas Day the second one came loose and within a week I lost that one. 6 months later number 3 was gone. This was when I demanded that I be seen.… After having to BEG to even get an appointment I made 3 trips to Oakland and the most I ever saw wa a resident who knew less than I did. Dr Ochs made an appointment for me to see someone else ( I still had not seen him) this dentist put a little rubber circle on my denture and said this would help with the one implant that was left. It worked for about 6 months. Now all my implants are gone my mouth is a complete mess and I’m sure Dr Ochs sleeps fine at night

Dr. Ochs is by far the best surgeon I’ve ever dealt with. He performed a 7 hour surgery on my son. His caring and compassion are unmatched. His staff is the absolute best as well. I would recommend him highly. He took as much time as we needed to explain the surgery and answer our questions before and after. We were truly blessed to have Dr. Ochs

Dr. Ochs is down to earth and has a great bedside manner. He removed my impacted wisdom teeth and performed my jaw surgery. I had so little pain both times - I only took one or two days of the pain medicine. And he was good at explaining how both procedures would work. I would recommend him to anyone.

I've had three surgeries done by Dr. Ochs. He is by far the best and has always made me the most comfortable. My most recent surgery was one I was most nervous for as I wasn't being put under but he came out to see me before the surgery and put all of my worries to rest. He goes out to talk to family members who are waiting, he doesn't send someone else. I always get a follow up call the day of the surgery which is nice if I have any questions. I have not had any pain at all with my last surgery (implant). I'm so grateful for Dr. Ochs and his staff. I honestly will not go to anyone else for dental surgeries. I HIGHLY suggest Dr. Ochs and his team.

Dr Ochs performed jaw surgery on our son in May of 2018. He and his residents are the absolute best. They are extremely kind and patient and took amazing care of our son. They also were more than accommodating with all of our questions and concerns. You simply cannot ask for better treatment. God Bless you Dr Ochs and your entire staff! Thank you.

Dr. Ochs is both a great doctor and a great person. He guided me through the diagnosis and pre-surgical procedure and really put my mind at ease. As for the result of my upper jaw surgery - it's perfect. Dr. Ochs is very thorough and you can feel confident that you're in good hands with him. I can't really say enough good things about the man. I couldn't have gone through my procedure with anyone but him. He may be a little hard to get a hold of, but your patience is rewarded with a top-notch doctor. You can rest easy knowing he's in your corner.

Love him and his whole office staff very friendly makes you feell like family listens to your every word and works to the best ability to keep you comfortable and at ease! Recommend him to everybody I know! He takes his patients personally and staff is always eager to help friendly clean and very loving

The Dr listened to my to my story and complaints about my teeth and smile. He was very honest about what could be done and my expectations. I felt he had my best interest at heart. I felt comfortable and trusted his opinion.
