He is a remarkable Surgeon. His bed side manner is awesome. He is very caring and very thorough.

I was more than a number with Dr Onitis. I was 41 with lung cancer (nonsmoking). The cancer was stopped and came back 4 years later. Again Dr Onitis took care of it. Attitude plays a big part in how I was treated. The Dr gave me my life back twice!!

Think carefully before getting esophageal surgery. He was her surgeon. She had infection the year after surgery and Duke didn't want her back. She died.

Would highly recommend Dr. Onaitis. Very caring and concerned. Did an awesome job on my husbands esophagel cancer surgery in 2010. Still doing well!

My experience with Dr Onaitis has been terrible. No communication after my Dad's surgery. Very high rate of complications.

No follow up after my sister's major surgery. seemed unconcerned, like it was no big deal. she is dead now.
