Dr. Mark David Oxman, DO

I just met Dr. Oxman and was very pleased. He was extremely helpful and very nice. I feel very confident in him as my nephrologist. His nurse and the dialysis staff were also very helpful and nice.

Dr. Mark Oxman is a fantastic Dr. My mom is 83 years old and he was very patient and kind and took all the time she needed. He explained everything and did not rush like most Drs. The staff was nice as well. Would highly recommend him to anyone including friends or family.

I have worked alongside Dr. Oxman for the past 2.5 years at the outpatient dialysis center of which he is the Medical Director. He is thorough and compassionate when he meets with his dialysis patients. I enjoy his unique sense of humor, as do our patients. He has been in Nephrology for many years, which clearly shows in how he treats our patients. Definitely one of the best in the Dayton area!

He may be the best at what he does. However, he has a God complex and the worst bedside manner I have ever seen. He is rude and curt. When the diagnosis was given for my kidney disease he told me I was going to dialysis and would need a kidney transplant. Then asked if there were any questions. How could I think to ask any questions when this news was new to me and I had just been fire hosed with this new info about my condition. I have tried to get assigned a different kidney doc but because he is the head honcho at the Fresenius location where I receive my treatment they won't let me switch to another doc in the practice. Plus, the docs rotate visiting the center. So, they say it doesn't matter b/c they basically all treat the patients in the same manner.

This Doctor is the most caring and knowledgeable doctors any where. He is kind, compassionate, and listens. He does not give up. Great doctor!
