Do not go here!! Dr. Paden and his staff are very unorganized. It seemed like he didn’t have time for me and already had his mind made up for what he thought was wrong with my injury before he walked into the room or even talked to me. Dr Paden didn’t want to examine my injury. His words (yap i looked at the xray and I do see something there, but I don’t think it’s a big deal, try not to use it for a couple of days ok) and then he was ready to walk me to the door. But after finally talking him into looking at my injury he’s then agreed… ( yes, I feel some grinding in there, you do need an MRI). That was over three and a half months ago still waiting for him to put in his orders for me to get a MRI. But this is pretty common for Stillwater Medical Center/ortho Oklahoma. I can’t count how many people I have met that have been either misdiagnosed or have had a family member die due to being misdiagnosed at SMC. I was diagnosed with liver cancer by a nurse practitioner at Stillwater… Medical Center emergency room, she told me it was to late to do any treatment and I should just go home and prepared to die. But I didn’t have liver cancer, I had an abscess on my liver which turned septic due to SMC misdiagnosis. I spent 21 days in a Tulsa hospital. Thank God for Hillcrest in Tulsa they were fantastic. If I would have listened to SMC Emergency room staff I would be dead now. Once again, do not go here!!!!

Dr. Paden is a very skilled orthopedic surgeon. You can tell he loves what he does by the time spent with patients. He is very thorough and has a wonderful personality!
