I was able to get an appt quickly, he was courteous, and gave me the information I needed for my procedure and the results quickly. He praised the original Dr who read previous xray.

Dr. Pederson treated my mother for a blockage in the leg on Oct. 15, 2009 at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids, IA. Dr. Pederson was very unprofessional and uncaring. He belittled and talked down to her telling her that "she did this to herself" among other rude comments while she was on the procedure table, and said "I hope I never see you again lady!" when he came to see her post-op and not in a caring way like I hope to never see you again because I took care of your problem. My mother is 71 years old, it scared her to death. She was left wodering what she did to him to upset him. She did nothing except come to him to help her, which I thought was what he was trained to do!!!! My mother told her personal physician who called Dr. Pederson and confronted him with her concerns, his response was "that he was having a bad day" and that he was running behind and frustrated. Not under any circumstances should a professional caregiver ever talk to a patient. I would NOT recommend going… to this Radioligist, he does not come across as being a very nice person!
