a minute ago If your a veteran steer clear of this Dr. He is unable to refer Gabapentin to VA for fill. Horrible beside manner! His amusement calling me "Flipper" while receiving injections in back as I was wincing in pain was more than unprofessional! F- RATING

What a let down!! Was totally misled when I made my appt. Was told he did do opiate therapy but did not prescribe on first appt. Drove all the way from north MO to their office. He barely examined me. I was not interested in injections as they have never worked for me and I've had about 30 of them in the past. Nurse comes in, has me fill out an opiate risk factor form which I'm sure I clearly passed. Dr Pinkerton (who was very unfriendly, cold, barely asked me any questions) comes back in the room and told me to see a chiropractor. Seriously?? I am on disability and have at least 10 documented pain diagnoses. What a joke and what a jerk!! VERY disappointed!!

This is one of the most professional and caring doctors I have ever been to. I found out later that he had just lost a family member, and yet he was still there, taking care of the needs of his patients. With so many other doctors trying to just run me through as another "cow in the herd", he took the time to listen and feel like he is really working with me to help in finding the correct diagnosis and eliminate the pain. I learned more in 30 minutes with him than I have in the last several years from others.

This was the worst experience that I had with someone that is suppose to be professional and take care of a first time patient. Dr. Pinkerton was exceptionally rude and uncaring. Never in my life would I think that if you were caring for a person in pain that you compassion be so unwilling to listen. Can't believe how I was treated for my first time coming to his office.

Very professional and caring about me and my needs, very thorough and beneficial treatment. Would recommend Dr. to others. Will continue services with Dr. Pinkerton.
