Dr. Mark David Popkin, MD

I suffered with my skin rash on my face for so many months before I visited Dr. Popkin. I was SO frustrated & worried as it wasn’t going away with some over counter medications & visiting other doctors.He was my last hope and as soon as he saw my face, he knew what was happening & gave the right prescription and after using 2 weeks it started going away and within 4 weeks I was back to normal. I cursed myself for not finding him earlier??. I only had one follow up appointment after the first one & I was ALL set. Thanks to the doctor for giving the right treatment without making me go for several visits. Good bless him & his family.

The doctor is great and really takes care of you no rush he and wife are both great.

Dr. Popkin was very nice, but he did not wash his hands or wear gloves. The syringe & instruments that were used on me were just put down on the counter - no tray or sterile barrier. Not sure if the counter was wiped off before my appointment..

Dr. Popkin is an excellent dermatologist. He takes the time I need when I have an appointment and does not make me feel rushed. When I had a melanoma and needed additional surgery, he recommended a specialist. I would certainly highly recommend him to others.

He laughingly told my ten year old son he had Elephant Man's disease. He did not.

The wait to get into the practice is hardly worth the time. Dr. Popkin was a little strange and made me uncomfortable. The staff was rude. I had seen him when he first opened and there was only two employees. They weren't there and there was a marked difference.

I have finally had to switch to a new dermatologist, and I am so glad I did. Dr. Popkin would prescribe the same thing repeatedly despite mediocre results, and the visit would be short and abrupt. This was especially frustrating because it would take me several tries to even get through to the office, since they often are not there to pick up the phone, even during their business hours (which are sporadic to begin with). Multiple frustrating experiences made me go look elsewhere.
