Dr. Mark Anthony Provenzano, MD

He was very arrogant and would not listen to me or a pc doctor I had before. He admitted me to the hospital telling me I had pneumonia. He also told me I was very sick and he did not think I would make it. He made the nurses give me Lasix the whole time I was in the hospital even though I wasn't swollen and my bones were showing everywhere. I kept cramping and asked to have it stopped. He said no. I told him and my old doctor told him to look at my brother's history because he had Pulmonary Fibrosis. He said he did not want to see any ones history because they were not his patient. He told me I had to be on oxygen the rest of my life. While I was in the hospital, I had to call the nurse because I got so sick. I was cramping from my toes to my throat. She had to give me a shot to stop it. When I went for my follow up appointment, he asked if I was taking my medication I said that I was now. He got very nasty when I said no one gave any to take with me. He said I told you… three times to make sure they gave it to you before you left, even though he didn't think I would make it. He then told me if I would have to be re-admitted he would not have gotten paid! Not only did he misdiagnose me (I do have pulmonary fibrosis) he was more worried about not getting paid! That is the kind of person he is. I'm not the only one who thinks so.

It was obvious he had no interest in hearing me or my history. He reviewed the scan and had no real interest in me the person. Also, I told him that I have had right chest wall subcutaneous crepitus (air in my chest wall) for a few months. This guy (the actual lung Doctor) didn't seem interested or even assess it. My other doctors, even the hematologist, check it, document it, and monitor it. This lung Doctor. They guy I saw for abnormal scans, shortness of breath, and palpable right chest crepitus was not even interested in discussing or assessing. Furthermore, he documented that he did palpate my chect and it was normal (never happened). In fact, he documented a very comprehensive exam, like checking my carotid, pedal pulses, strength, and so much more...never happened. Doctors have to stop lying about the exams. You can't say someone has a normal carotid if you don't check it!!! Horrible doc!! Not vested, not present, condescending g, lies about exam...no way! Already have another… appointment with another doc set up!
