Did cataract surgery when it was not medically necessary. Sold me on expensive lenses - $1800 for each lens. Then inserted the left eye lens incorrectly. Had a more competent surgeon replace the lens with another $1800 lens. Told Pyfer he owed me a refund of $1800 for the lens he inserted improperly. No response. Told me I had eyelash mites. Four other doctors told me I did not. Look for him hawking his latest gimmick on late night TV . Avoid.

Dr. Pyfer did my brother and my sister's laser vision correction surgery and they were absolutely thrilled with their results! I definitely recommend Dr. Pyfer for any vision correction surgery if your focus is getting the best. Five Stars!

I went to Dr. Pyfer because he was recommended for treating my cataracts. Excellent recommendation! His staff took a lot of time making many measurements of my eyes, so by the time Dr. Pyfer came into the exam room to see me, he had a lot of data about my eyes. He did his own thorough exam. He is a very outgoing person, explained everything about my situation, and recommended a high-tech type of lens implant that would not only replace the cataracts clouding my vision but also give me back BOTH distance and close-up vision WITHOUT GLASSES!!! Surgery with Dr. Pyfer was very easy to cope with, recovery was also very easy, and so both eyes were corrected just two weeks apart. It is life-changing to have given away that big box of reading glasses I accumulated over 16 years as I got more and more far-sighted! I recommend him without reservation.

Doc you need to be humbled. You are not God. I wait 2 hours to see you, you give me maybe 4 minutes. You walk out as I am asking a question? Seriously?

When I first came to Dr. Pyfer, my eyes were so damaged, my vision was horrendous due to scarring. It took about 6 months for my eyes to heal, but with a less capable doctor, I would have lost my vision entirely. Once my eyes healed, I decided to go ahead with Lasik. Dr. Pyfer is a miracle worker. Friends of mine had to go back 2 or 3 times for additional Lasik treatments, but 15 minutes after my first treatment, I had better than 20/20 vision. I went from not being able to see the Big E on the chart, to reading the last line with ease. Dr. Pyfer is amazing and a truly caring doctor.

Dr. Pyfer is the best ophthalmologist I have ever met. He is very caring and an extremely gifted surgeon. I would highly recommend him.
