Dr. Mark Shawn Regan, MD

This doctors is one of the worst ive come to work with at UW Madison TLC hospital, he has poor communication skills and treats people of different back grounds then his own very poorly, he refused to recheck a patient which dramatically lead to his death by denying him blood stating it was a scared source and not feasible to provide it. although 2 nurses requested it to try in save the patient; he rudely yelled at them stating he runs the TLC and NO is NO and advised them to continue to up blood pressure Meds and pain only providing sodium water till the patient passed away due to lack/loss of blood to balance out the medication. All while yelling at the patients family to give up He's gonna DIE. Never take his word as your only option and if stuck with his as last help request a new doctor before its to late for you and your used as another test case of his. NOT SOMEONE YOU WANT WITH YOUR LIFE IN THEIR HANDS.

I saw Dr.Regan after my family dr. noticed some spots on my lungs, ordered a breathing test which I failed in 1 out of 5 catagories. I was pretty pleased with his demeaner, answers to my questions, and although I had to slow him down a bit he ded end up spending all the time with me I needed. It was my first appt-and I am a smoker whih makes it more diffiult to diognose me. I quit smoking and have a follow-up in a short time...hope to learn more then.

This doctor's bedside manner and professionalism are deplorable. He fails to analyze an entire situation before making decisions and has incredibly poor skills in working with certain populations. MUCH professional development is needed.
