Thank you Dr. Mark he was so gentle and patient with me... I wasn't going to get the shot at 1st. But the front desk staff member assisted by holding my hand. This staff is actually the best. Thanks again to everyone.

Dr. Rekant was very friendly, knowledgable and took the time to answer all my questions while explaining the potential issues in full detail. I felt very comfortable with him and trust moving forward with the final diagnosis and treatment after a nerve test. I would recommend Dr. Rekant and the Hand to Shoulder practice to everyone.

Dr. Rekant is a fantastic surgeon and doctor! My broken wrist healed quickly and beautifully after surgery and I’m back to normal in 2 months…highly recommend Dr Rekant!

one of my more unsettling experiences in care. Dr ReKant performed surgery on my wrist in November. while overall the result is good i’m dealing with pretty painful carpal tunnel which he advised in Dec. “can happen” with my surgery and to “live with it and if it gets too bad, come back to schedule surgery” jump cut to today i made the appt to discuss surgery and after about 5 minutes of basically saying “i could sleep in a brace or get surgery” I attempted to coax details about surgery out of him but he was completely disinterested, offering only monosyllabic responses. This after my appt in Dec where he quite gregariously talked the majority of the visit about how he’d lost his luggage at a conference and “oh isn’t his outfit funny” while he showed me pictures from his iPhone. Today I got the disinterested egotist - he handed me a blue sheet with my name on it, nothing written down and said “good luck” and left the room. I literally sat there stunned wondering what just happened. Had… i known i would be so resoundingly dismissed while expressing extreme pain from his surgery, as i was there doing today, i don’t know that I’d ever have trusted Dr. Rekant with my surgery in the first place. I even referenced pain in my shoulders which he just ignored. This is what happens when they become doctors for the money. but be aware this blind greed and ego has left me - your patient- confused, in pain and wondering what the H just happened. this is truly an awful feeling and unacceptable in a healthcare setting. you get two stars because the office is pretty.

Really no interaction, wasn’t knowledgeable of my chart just came in feeled my hand and still couldn’t give me an answer. Waste of time and copay

Suggested surgery right away on a sprained pinky. Awkward patient interaction with self centered stories. Going to another professional. And no lead offered when took x rays.

Very down to earth and informative

I was able to get an appointment very quickly. The staff were professional and friendly. Dr. Rekant was able to do an ultrasound in office on my wrist to confirm carpal tunnel and the severity. He then went over different options for my trigger finger and hand numbness due to carpal tunnel.
