Finding a good psychiatrist always requires finding someone with whom you have rapport, and for a maybe difficult patient like me, a psychiatrist that is better than most at finding rapport with a wide variety of personalities is a must. That rapport makes it possible for a patient to accept the help a psychiatrist is trying to provide. It’s not merely how much Dr. Reynolds knows, and he knows a lot, but when he points out my errors, rather than bristle, my first reaction is: “Darn, of course! What could I have been thinking?” Stated I hope most succinctly, of all the psychiatrists, psychologists and counselors I have seen, he has been the best at keeping me on track. Fred

Dr Reynolds prescribed Cymbalta and kept me on it, despite my complaints that I was gaining weight. So I left and went to another psychiatrist!

Was rude and confrontational. Just what a depressed patient doesn't need!

He saved my life. 6 other psychiatrists could not properly diagnose me.

This Dr was VERY cold and seemed annoyed at me. Gave many nonverbal signals of annoyance like the flipping up of the hands with palms up when I asked a question. Something wasn't right about this Dr. He didn't seem to know how to diagnose my simple anxiety problem, or just didn't seem to like me enough to want to help.. But he got my money anyway!
