Dr. Mark Allan Rindflesh, MD

He was my Dr at UNI as a teen. Times were different in the early 00’s, I understand that. I had a difficult home life combined with fluctuating emotion's that come with being a teenager. He slapped a “bipolar” label on me. When I discussed my “internal thoughts” during sessions he spun them into “voices in my head”. I eventually found myself being led into saying things during sessions I didn’t really feel/believe because I felt like they were the “right answers”. During sessions when my parents were brought in, we would be discussing a previous 1:1 sessions and he would change the details of what happened during our session. I would try to correct the “retelling” for example “Oh no I didn’t say that, what I said during our conversation was blah blah blah”- He would argue back saying I was now changing what I told him previously. I would then of course become visibly upset and confrontational as 3-4 adults watched. I left UNI prescribed with a cocktail of antipsychotics

I think you're amazing and right now I've got questions for you an those questions are the next time I see you can me and you talk sepretaly me and you only.

I have been seeing Dr. Rindflesh for years and he has been an exceptional psychiatrist. On an unrelated note he has the best taste in clothes (really!)

Dr. Rindflesh has always been willing to work with me and my dad and cares about your life. He has a warm smile and that just invites you in and I just feel at ease around him.
