Dr. Risen is married to Alisha Risen, a T.J. pediatric nurse practitioner. Their son, Zeb, is also joining the T.J. team. Layla, their daughter, is currently pursuing a career in the mental health field. Outside of work, Dr. Risen enjoys spending time with family, farming, motor sports, and raising Black Angus cattle.
