Dr. Mark Gregory Roddy

A couple weeks ago, my 13 month old son was brought into the Holy Cross ER barely breathing, and placed into Dr. Roddys care. It was the most terrifying experience of my life, and I have never felt so helpless and afraid. My son was wheeled into the ER and immediately surrounded by a medical team, and I remember watching him being engulfed by medical equipment and shielded from view by the medical personnel. And then a strong voice rang out Dr. Roddys. He immediately commanded control of the room and I immediately thought, This is a great doctor. My son is in good hands.Dr. Roddy gave incredible care to my son that night. I was in a petrified panic and not only did he take great care of my son, he took care of me too. He calmly explained my sons condition to me, as well as each test that was to be run and the purpose for it. He patiently answered every question I had and encouraged more. Ill never forget his kindness, compassion, leadership, and skill I felt so blessed that… my son was placed into his hands that night. Dr. Roddy was a true answer to prayer, and I will forever be grateful to him for all that he did to help my son.

Excellent experience in the ER at Holy Cross. We waited only 10 minutes and were seen almost immediately.
