Dr. Mark J Rogovin, DO

I have avoided writing this review for several months. I hate to bash a working professional but I hope my experience will help him understand and improve his skills Briefly, I saw Dr. Rogovin 3 times because his nurse practitioner whom I had been seeing was, not compatible with my needs (I'm being diplomatic). He wouldn't make eye contact until my last visit when I specifically asked him to. He misdiagnosed my medical dosage that I had been for years even though I had brought him a peer-reviewed study to heip him understand current protocols for my condition. I am a retired university professor, a psychologist. I then went to a learned endocrinologist who after testing confirmed that he had put me on an correct dosage. Also he was generally rude and I interpreted his affect to gender bias. I don't usually move from one dr to another. Before coming to PBC I had only been to 2 practices in 20 plus years.

Please avoid at all costs! Doctor is inflexible and unpleasant and has a nasty personality. It's his way or the highway. If you don't agree with his treatment plan or have a different opinion on how to proceed, he will retaliate against you by trying to destroy your relationship with other providers. He works against his patients, not for them. Terrible doctor, avoid at all costs!

I am so happy that I found Dr. Rogovin. He is the first doctor that actually listened to symptoms that I was describing, and caught an early stage of diverticulitis. Every other doctor told me it was probably monthly cramps, when I knew that it wasn't. Dr. Rogovin asked me the right questions, and had me perform a few exercises in the exam room and knew right away that I had to head to the hospital. I am very grateful. His staff is super caring too. I had to wait a little bit, but totally worth the wait!!

It is so nice to go to your doctor and actually have them listen to you! Dr. Rogovin was so patient and caring and took the time to listen without me feeling rushed. I am so tired of going to the doctor and only getting 2 minutes of their time. I had to wait a little longer for my appt., but it is because he doesn't treat you like a number and really takes his time.

Dr. Rogovin has always shown full attention while examining and discussing medical matters, a kind and caring attitude when things were casual, and most importantly a knowledgeable and efficient approach to dealing with whatever problems were being evaluated.

Dr Rogovin is very caring and through. He works with his patient to find solutions.

Title tells all

Dysfunctional office. Last visit I was in and out in 2 hours. Too many patients are scheduled at the same time. Phones often don't get answered. Many medical mistakes. Office is full with waiting patients yet there are only 2 magazines to read. ..both on wine. However, the DR. is pleasant , nice personality and explain things well. Too bad that he evidently run a tight ship.

Doctor was very nice, staff was helpful. I got great service and his MA was super nice and easy to talk to.

I was told in a phone call I was cleared for surgery by his M.A. They never sent EKG to Cardiologist or Surgeon. Had to have 3 EKG's in all and they cancelled my surgery. No one told me. He is revengeful and lacks integrity....all because I asked a question!!!
