Dr. Mark Allen Rolain, MD

My husband had a nasty fall resulting in a bad concussion and many stitches. 3 weeks later he was having some eye twitching and hair like shadows in his vision. I called and spoke With Sandy who, at first gave me an appointment 2 weeks away but then got me in next day as she was concerned . She had complete empathy. Once we got in the office Sandy and all the staff were so sweet and took great care of us. Dr Rolain was so wonderful too. He really does care for his patients. Although My husbands eye came out great, it was nice knowing they all cared enough to get him in and taken care of quickly. We will always use this office for our eye care! OH! and the office is very clean and the equipment is new! I dont know how anyone can say the staff are rude! They were so wonderful!

Dr. Mark Rolain was highly recommended to me via my regular Beaumont eye doctor. I visited him four times. Once initially to see if cataract surgery was feasible, the next time to setup my surgery, then post op visit the day after surgery, then another one a week later. I found Dr. Rolain to be a pleasant, soft spoken doctor that did not rush you though the exam and explained everything to you. His office staff is wonderful, greeting you with a smile as you walk in the door and have always been pleasant. His surgical coordinator, Ashley, is great. Explains how everything will be handled the day of the surgery, the choices of the type of lens that you wish to have implanted, etc. All your visits are setup during one visit so that you do not have to keep calling the office for appointments. The medication is ordered ahead of time and you are called regarding your arrival time for the surgery. I just had cataract surgery done on my left eye and am looking forward to having Dr.… Rolain do the other eye in several weeks. If your looking for a great doctor, a good looking and clean office and a wonderful staff, give University Eye Care a call.

Terrible. He is rude, obnoxious, and I cannot believe I wasted my time here.

If it wasn't for the fact that I think Dr. Rolain is a superb physician....I would find another opthamologist. I have been treated rudely on more than one occasion. Most recently, I was 6 min. late due to road construction and the office manager announced my arrival by loudly proclaiming..."you are late!" How about good morning? Following that, she allowed other patients who arrived 20 min or more after me to go before me..my punishment I presume. The office staff is always in a rush...meeting set time frames seems to be their primary focus.,,,forgetting the fact that many of the elderly patients move slowly. On second thought, there are other good opthamologists out there, I think it is time to find one!
