Dr. Rosen earned his dental degree from the University of Illinois in 1974. He was inducted into the national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, and received the Award of Merit for Outstanding Clinical Achievement. Â He completed his periodontal training at the Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry.Â
Upon returning to Illinois, Dr. Rosen opened his first office in Rockford with a satellite office in Freeport. He then joined Periodontics Ltd. in 1978.
Dr. Rosen has shared his knowledge and skills throughout his career. He was an associate professor at Boston University School of Dentistry and University of Illinois Dental School, as well as a clinical instructor at Michael Reese Hospital and Rush North Shore Medical Center. He has also lectured and published locally and nationally.
He is a member of many dental societies, including the American Academy of Periodontology, Midwest Society of Periodontology, Acadmey of Osseointegration, …American Dental Association, Illinois Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society.
Dr. Rosen and his wife, Andy, have a family of three sons, one daughter-in-law, and four grandchildren. They spend their free time at their lakefront cottage in Wisconsin, playing water sports and golfing.
