Dr. Mark Steven Russo, MD

been going to Dr Russo for 5 years, twice a year , recently I had an appointment which was made 6 months in advance I mistakenly put the wrong date on my calendar . I called the following day to reschedule and was told I could not until I pay a $100 fee . I called twice to talk and even wrote a letter all went unanswered. I received a letter unsigned by Dr. Russo in that letter they made a dated error twice. I guess its OK for this office to make an error but not a patient. In that letter I was informed I will be discharged 30 days from 11/12 then stated 30 days from date of letter 11/26.I will be looking for a caring Nephrologists

I would love to rate the doctor, however I never had a chance to meet him. I showed up early to my appointment and had no where to wait (waiting room was full of patients + caregivers even though a sign doesn't allow this). After 30 min outside I returned to see where I was in "line" and she said it would be another hour - at least! How do you get that far backed up and not contact anyone to let them know? I am not retired and have a job and children to attend to. I then waited in my car an additional 1 hour 20 min and was finally called in. Shuffled around for another 25 min before I finally walked out to get my child from school. They had no consideration for my time at all and were downright rude about it. Said they could reschedule me in 3 months!

It is such a shame that some people cannot appreciate the experience and wisdom of a wise soul. Dr. Russo is the most competent and knowable doctor that I have had the pleasure of being in his care. I highly recommend him and thank him and his staff for caring for me and my family in the upmost caring way.

I went to doctor Russo and I have never had a doctor as nasty and rude as him. He told me that in twenty years I would be on Dialysis. How does he know what will happen in twenty years is he God. I might be alive and he might be dead. I didn’t ask him for a prognosis. Then he said to me that I have bad luck as far as heath. He is a egotistical moron to say that to me. I am so mad at his treatment of me I am calling the medical Board. He should not be practicing with his nasty behavior he should to Research work and abuse the moneys. I don’t think they even stand for his abuse.

Pay close attention to his advice. It’s wise and subtle.

We have now been sitting here for an hour and fifteen minutes.

I had the displeasure of speaking to a "Laurie". She was the most sarcastic and condescending human being. She really needs to attend a customer service class.

He has the god complex and is always on his phone when your telling him your problems what a rude person. i would not recommend this ego maniac

Dr. Russo is the best of the best. His academic mind is amazing. He discusses care with you, doesn't just tell you what to do, he actually wants your input! I have been seeing him for roughly 5 years and he is always on the ball and compassionate. I would recommend him to anyone needing a nephrologist.

Dr. Russo is one of the best Dr.s that I ever had. Enough said.
