Dr. Sanderson did excellent work. I am very pleased. I wish all doctors could be of his caliber.

If I could rate him less than one star, I would. Dr. Sanderson does not make it easy to follow up after surgery. His office will call you minutes before your appointment and tell you not to come in because he decided to take the day off. The surgery he performed will now have to be re-done by a competent surgeon. He has horrible bedside manner and gave no instruction on after care. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!

So I went in to see him cause my hand is broken in 3 places ;I took my X rays for him to see that I just gotten the day before, so he looks at them and says that my hand is broken so he decides that I need more X rays okay that is fine but he took the same pics my Doctor took, -so he comes back and say yeah my hand is broken, and there is nothing he can do, okay that's find so if you dont want to do surgery which I think he should but then again I am not a Doctor, I asked him what I can do to make it feel better for the pain and be able to move my hand all he did was stared at me I ask him again and nothing I get up so does him and just walks away, I think he should have no business being there.

He did a really first rate job on my husband's ear reconstruction after melanoma.

Dr. Sanderson is the most arrogant, rudest person and doctor I have ever met. He will not look you in the eye, like he has something to hide. I took my son to him when he needed a hand surgery. After the surgery my son was in considerable pain. Dr. Sanderson said that he did not know why my son was in pain, as the hand was not capable of feeling that much pain. What? He is a medical doctor and he says there is not a reason for pain after hand surgery? Please spare your family member of yourself from this quackery surgeon. His staff and his surgical assistant, a woman, is the worst malpractice I have ever seen. My son also developed an infection, and I was told by someone who works in the operating room that Dr. Sanderson works in, that the doctor does not even wash his hands before surgery!! Then when I took my son back for help with the infection, the doctor basically hid behind his surgical assistant and would not take care of my son! Please spare yourself and family… members from this nightmare! Dr. Sanderson needs to retire, he is incompetent and can hardly put two words together.

He saw my husband for a hand injury. My husband had 2 complaints about his finger & his wrist. Dr Sanderson said "I can feel what is wrong with your finger & we can easily fix that w/ surgery & while we're in there I can look at the wrist." We were happy with this because he had been in so much pain & something needed to be done. On the day of the surgery, we got there at 8:30, he got there at 11:00, there were 2 patients ahead of my husband. The place smelled like urine. Not one time did Dr Sanderson make an appearance. The surgery that was scheduled at 9:30 actually started at 12:00. We were told it would take 30-45 minutes, it took 1 hour 45 minutes. Explanations after were vague at best. He was having complications (spasms, numbness, shooting pains) that he did not have before the surgery. Trying to call was a joke, so we made a appt w/ the PA. In my opinion, she was helpful at explaining what was happening, but we still got the feeling that they were hiding something. At the… post-op appt w/ the Dr, when telling him the symptoms his answer was "I have no answer for that. The hand is basically a nerve free zone" He is a hand specialist and tries to tell us that there are no nerves in the hand!!! He had no sympathy, no accountability, & couldn't look us in the eye after the surgery. Please DO NOT go to him. After we went, people all over have been telling me horrible stories about their experience w/ him. I wish it had been before because my husbands hand will never be the same.

Did a revision of my previous elbow surgery by another surgeon and it is now much better thanks to his skill in the OR and knowledge of medicine.

Doctor Sanderson is the best doctor for when it comes to hand surgery or plastic surgery. He is a five star doctor whom which everyone should go to!

I have had experience with two other surgeons and neither of them had the best personality either; surgeons seem to be technicians rather than caregivers IMO. However, Dr. Sanderson takes the cake. Upon "meeting" him for the first time (to have him look at a cyst on my 7 year old's wrist), there was no introduction, no handshake, nothing. I chalked that up to him just being a socially awkward surgeon. I decided to schedule my son's surgery with Dr. Sanderson. We were told to be at the hospital at 7:15am. Dr. Sanderson was scheduled to arrive (per the nurses & staff) at 8am. At 8:40 he decided to show up (remember, he is operating on a very nervous & scared 7 year old). No apology for being late, no greeting, no reassuring words for my child. He picked up my son's hand and wrote "YES" in marker and left the room. Thankfully the nurses & staff at the hospital were exceptionally nice and did a wonderful job at putting my son's fears at ease. The real kicker is that after the… surgery Dr. Sanderson didn't even make an appearance to tell me how the surgery went or to check on my son. Never in my life have I experienced such a lack of caring in a physician. I will NEVER go to this doctor EVER again. I don't know how good (or bad) of a job he did; that will remain to be seen as my son heals and I can look at the incision. Even if Dr. Sanderson did the finest job his bedside manner (or lack thereof) will prevent me from ever visiting him again or referring any family/friends.Shame on you, Dr. Sanderson.
