Dr. Mark Sawyer, was raised in Skokie, Illinois and received his BA from Drake University. He graduated from the University of Illinois, College of Dentistry in 1984. In 1985, he began practicing in Rogers Park on Western Avenue, and in 1994, added another location in Glenview.
Dr. Sawyer has been practicing dentistry since 1984, recently having been acknowledged by the Illinois State Dental Society for his twenty five years of dedicated service in the field. In 2006, Dr. Sawyer went to Denver to receive the honor of being named a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. This award is given to members who have completed over five hundred hours of continuing education. Dr. Sawyer continues to expand his knowledge and keep current with the latest technologies and materials, with an emphasis on cosmetic and implant dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry and Alpha Omega. He also …attends a local study group.
Dr. Sawyer is married to his wife, Marilyn, who is a school nurse. They have three children, Danny, Sara, Josh and a dog, Desi. When not in the office, Dr. Sawyer can be found exercising, sitting in front of his computer or walking his dog.
