While I was referred by my PCP for diagnosis only, I found this doctor to be a creative & effective therapist as well as a super sleuth diagnostician.

After a recent divorce, I reached out to Dr. Schachter based upon a recommendation from a family friend. At the time, I was emotionally drained and in no shape to research doctors. I was so glad that my first call was to Dr. Schachter, and although I rarely write reviews, I had such a wonderful experience with him that I felt compelled to share. While I was a patient of Dr. Schachter he provided me with counseling services for several years and additionally, he helped me with visitation and co-parenting issues. Dr. Schachter was extremely easy to open up to and genuinely cared about the wellbeing of my family and I. Closing this chapter in my life was extremely difficult and without the help of Dr. Schachter I donâ??t believe that I would have been able to find a healthy pathway to deal with my issues and move on.
