Dr. Mark Robert Schick, MD

Very caring and understanding of my situation and what outcome I was expecting. He let me know I could possibly need anchors when repairing my rotator cuff so I was prepared. I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome! So happy I chose Dr. Schick.

I have had 3 orthopaedic surgeries by Dr. Schick and have always trusted him and been satisfied with the care he provides...until he did my knee surgery a few months ago. The surgery went well but i had some unfortunate complications post operatively. I do not blame him for the complications as i am well aware these things are possible. What i am dissatisfied with is his lack of care or compassion when i had to be hospitalized a week after surgey due to the pain these complications caused. He chose to avoid the problem and try to solve it and snow me with so much pain medication i could not physically or mentally function and still have to suffer with the pain. I felt as if i was going crazy. Add to that the lack of any home care planning post hospital discharge the pushing me off to another provider later that week who i had never heard of or sern before and dorsnt practice in the same building as Dr. Schick all because he told my primary doctor he knew i was 'not happy' with him.
