Meet Dr. Schreiner
Dr. Mark Schreiner completed his undergraduate studies in Biology at Baylor University in 1977 and earned his DDS from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1981. In 1988 he received his certificate in orthodontics/orthopedics from United States Dental Institute, and in 1998 he completed Level 2 certification from the Academy of Laser Dentistry.
Dr. Schreiner began his career in Kerrville, TX, where he worked from 1981 to 1983 before moving to the DFW Metroplex. From 1983 to 1995 he held a private practice in Oak Cliff and Lancaster, and then went on to work in associate practices in Lewisville and Southlake from 1995 to 2002. From 2001 to 2003, Dr. Schreiner was a part-time Clinical Associate Professor at the Texas A&M Health Science Center, part of the Baylor College of Dentistry. He opened and began his private practice in 2002.
Dr. Schreiner is a member of the Dallas County Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. The Texas …Dental Association awarded him the Honorable Order of Goodfellow for 25 years of continuous membership in the TDA and for recognition and appreciation of loyalty and service to the association and the dental profession.
There have been abundant technological advances throughout Dr. Schreiner’s career, and he says it’s been amazing to follow the progress. While he loves the technical aspects, he says he most values the wonderful people he’s met through dentistry.
Dr. Schreiner is fortunate to work with his wife Jean who assists as a dental hygienist, and together they have three children, Laura, Liz, and Chris. When he’s not in the office, Dr. Schreiner enjoys photography and running.
