Dr. Mark S. Shahin, MD

Dr. Shahin has been treating me for a recurrence of ovarian cancer. I had received excellent care prior to that, but Dr. Shahin's care is truly exceptional. He called me personally at 7:30 on a Friday night to talk about my eligibility for an experimental trial and then saw me within a week of my first call. He is unmistakeably well-informed about gynecologic oncology treatment and research, including a variety of experimental trials. Beyond his outstanding treatment capabilities, Dr. Shahin is kind, warm, and welcoming to his patients and their families.

Was seen. Was violated.

I checked into ABMH Dec 2017 for a hysterectomy..when I woke up Dr. Shahin informed me my appendix had burst..also discovered cancer in my colon..Dr. Shahin performed the hysterectomy and Dr Edleson clean out my colon..both Drs did an excellentent job and I am so thankful for them both..bedside manner EXCELLELENT!

Dr. Shahin is the most amazing doctor I have ever had. He really care about his patients. Takes his time and makes sure you understand him.

Shahin was right on the $$ with my diagnosis. He spent time explaining all the details to me and put both my husband and I at ease. He came highly recommended to me by my primary and when I looked at the card she gave me I recognized the name because he was already treating my sister. I knew my sister trusted him and she is a very thorough person and had checked him out. I knew I was in good hands! I am now healthy and moving on with living! This man is wonderful!

From my first meeting with Dr. Shahin in 2004 for what turned out to be an emergency hysterectomy for an ovarian tumor, he has always put me at ease & explained everything until I clearly understood. Dr. Shahin was there immediately when my body initially &very painfully rejected chemo. My entire body was on fire & I could not breath, he calmed me. My recurrence in 2010 put me through a 2nd round of chemo. He takes the time to show me my catscan results & explain to me exactly what I am seeing. Thank you Dr. Shahin & I am glad you continue to be my doctor.

I'm glad that I meet Dr. Shahin by chance. I arrived at AMH with one condition and was diagnosis with Ovarian Cancer. He is kind, patient and caring. He took baby steps with me as I was dealing with this diagnosis. I totally trust him and glad that he is my doctor.

Dr Mark Shahin is an EXCELLENT Doctor. He was caring and compassionate before, during and after my Robotic surgery for Uterine Cancer. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a GYN Oncologist! Also the office staff is kind and Professional. The wait time is what would be expected in an office with such GREAT physicians and has never been more than 15 minutes. I am thankful to have had such an AMAZING Dr on my side in a time that I felt helpless and scared. Thank you Dr Shahin!!!

I have seen Dr Shahin for the last 5 years after being treated for endometrial cancer. I have found him to be extremely professional and caring. He always asks about my total well being as well as any gynecological issues. Love this guy!
