Dr. Mark Harry Shapiro, MD

Excellent physician! Doctor Shapiro took care of my terminal father with compassion, excellence and dignity. There are not many doctors in the field like Dr. Shapiro. He is the difference-

Dr. Shapiro is in charge of QME (second opinions) for worker's comp. He had already made up his mind about my case without a proper physical examination. After 2 hours in his office and without touching my arm/hand, he decided that I had NOTHING wrong. My WC doctor had seem me for a year and proper examination with a precised diagnose. Dr Shapiro was short, rude and without very poor bedside manners. He shouldn't be caring for real people :-(

Doesn't care about anyone or show any type of emoting or willingness to help.

Always running at least an hour late! Bedside manners were the worst I have ever experienced in my lengthy medical history. He often put my chart down on the counter and talked to me with his backside facing me. He never took anything seriously and to top it off he took phone calls during our appointments. On one of these phone calls with what seemed to be another doctor he stated "well the man is old and hardly has any parts left in him... You might as well take that out too." I could not believe he said this and that he said it right in front if me. My opinion is that he is full of himself and he does not respect what patients have gone through. He doubts facts about the patients own medical history and he is not sincere.

Dr mark Shapiro is a disappointment to the medical fraternity. I had written my medical history for him and he showed up one hour late having not read it. After narrating to him my past diagnosis, he dismissed them all. He indicated that it was all in my mind. He was more interested in who i am and what i do but not my condition. I don't know how a cholesterol of 257, or a heartrate of 122, or a vitamin D reading of 23 or acid reflux surgery can be an imagination. I found him to be a doctor interested in positions of glory in the expense of focussed patient care.
