Most helpful, kind custody evaluator. He goes out of his way to make the children comfortable and writes a complete, comprehensive report. He was fair to myself and the other party. His report was well written and referenced several articles, including one that my attorney referred to as a classic and honored article dealing with relocation. Very attentive and made me feel comfortable about a difficult process.

How would you feel if you paid over $10,000 for a generic report with middle school language and citations? Dr. Singer wrote my report in 2023 and uses one reference, a textbook from 2014. Anyone could look at it and say that this guy did middle schooler work. He is the student who, as a middle schooler, went to the library and practically copied out of the encyclopedia and only had that as his only citation for his assignment. This man is: 1. Slovenly - Does not present/represent himself well. 2. An interrupter - does not let you finish your thoughts and therefore comes always to the wrong conclusions. He does not make the connections because he does not take in the information. 3. Has a singular agenda - his own and tells you to "trust the process." 4. Unprofessional - does not even pay attention to any observation periods with your child. Stays on his computer and does not even look up to see parent-child interaction. 5. Sloppy - his work ethic and his methods are far from being… even close to scientific or evidence-based. Imagine a professional who is writing up a series of practice guidelines or recommendations and refers back to a textbook from 9 years ago. (Keeping in mind that textbooks themselves are about 5-10 years out of date.) No, you would want someone who has stayed up with the literature and includes the most recent work about how important a father's presence is in a child's life. Absolutely unbelievable that this man is a licensed child therapist. Absolutely stay away from him. Absolutely do not trust. Absolutely do not use. A living mess.

Dr. Singer was court appointed to conduct a custody evaluation. I hired my own expert and so did not spouse. Both of us could not agree on much but did agree that Dr. Singer was more thorough and fair than were are own experts. The lawyers and judge also respect him and his work

Dr. singer was the most professional evaluate her I have met. This is our third custody evaluation and he was the fairest and nicest to both myself and my wife as well as my three children. Well I did not always get everything I wanted he was extremely fair and professional. My lawyer has told me he’s one of the best and it is true.

Dr. Singer was the most understanding professional I met as I was going through a difficult divorce. While he did not always agree with my position, I felt as though he took a balanced approach and respected both myself and my ex-spouse. He was more understanding than my own attorney!
