Summary
I_m an Eastern Oregon native and enjoyed all the wonderful outdoor activities at my doorstep. I received my medical degree at the Oregon Health Sciences Center, followed by a rotating surgical internship and residency for two years at Maricopa County General Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. I had an unusual experience practicing medicine in the Philippines as an USAF Flight Surgeon for four years, which whetted my appetite for travel around the world. After leaving the Airforce, I started my Anesthesiology career in Lexington, Kentucky, and finished my training in Seattle at Virginia Mason. I met my wonderful wife when I was a freshman in college, and we_ve been married since 1975. We have two children, who are now all grown up and making their way through life.
