Excellent bedside manner. Really listens to you and exudes professionalism and empathy.

Last spring I suffered a ruptured disc in my neck. My practitioner did x rays, mri, and ct scans and three times to ER to be told it was a sprain and my pain killers were removed and I was put on a nerve suppressing drug. I decided to find services elsewhere. I found Dr. Skory and tried to research him and did not find much (this is why I'm reviewing) but he had practiced for many years and I had never been to a D. O. before so at this point I was willing to try because I did not want to drive to far from home, I did not want to return to the "big clinic" waiting lines. When I arrived the staff was so friendly and smiling (can you believe it, had not see that in a while) Once the doctor walked in the room I was greeted with another smile and with in 5 mins he had relieved probably 30% of my pain. Upper back was out of alignment. He sent me to the surgeon here we found a ruptured disc. Started different meds and rehab.Today my neck is functioning like normal and my pain is under… control. He "listens to you" and has a wonderful cheery bedside manner. A smile sometimes is great medicine. I feel he is one of the best doctors I have met in my life so far. :)
