Dr Mark Sofonio

Excellence is the only word I can think of for Dr. Sofonio and his staff! I have been going to him for my procedures for 15+ years. It has always been a excellent experience! Dr.Sofonio and his staff are always kind, courteous and very professional. The results of procedures they perform are always top notch! I expect to continue going in to Dr.Sofonio's office for my procedures for many years to come! Thank you Dr.Sofonio and team!

I had upper eyelid (belpharoplasy) surgery five weeks ago and am very happy with the results. Dr. Sofonio exceeded my expectations by giving me more open and youthful appearing eyes in a subtle and natural looking manner. I could not be happier with the results. I highly recommend him.

He does a quick sell on you telling you what you need or don’t need. He tells you he is the best in the area but he is not. If you’re looking for an old style type of facelift he’s your guy. He does not know how to do a deep plane lift correctly or fat transfer to face. Don’t get caught up in his smooth talking go elsewhere.

I have been to John in the past and was happy with results of Juvederm. My recent two visits were a waste of time and money. I wanted Sculptra as I have had before when I lived in Orlando, FL and was very happy with results. The fee given me for Sculptra was $600 John said no to Sculptra both visits and used Restylane Lyft the first visit which did not do a thing and Juvederm the second visit. Also I had Botox and I still have wrinkles on my forehead. I called the office a week later complaining. They had the office manager call me and she said the other aesthetician would do three visits of Sculptra at $1800 per visit. I am so disappointed in this office how they handle complaints. John was pushing for me to have Ultherapy and that he had it done. I did not see any difference with his before and after photos. There are many other cosmetic surgeons in the area that I am sure I will be happy with. Never going back to Dr Sofonia.

My wife went in for minor cosmetic treatment and immediately suffered complications including severe bruising, inflammation and pain. When she called to complain about the after effects, she was instructed to come in the next day. After a very quick, curt and impersonal session she was basically told that her reaction was rare, take some OTC meds and go away. When she persisted that she has had the exact same treatment performed by other doctors with no severe complications, the tending assistant said that she would receive a credit for the treatment. After 6+ weeks of persistent follow up for the credit where she received one story after another, she was told no credit would be given and good luck with other doctors. Very unethical.

Dr. Sofonio lacks the professionalism and integrity to be a doctor. Be wise and go somewhere else. His work on me was shotty at best and when I requested he fix it, he told me to find another doctor. Now I have to live with his terrible work.

I have never felt as bad as I do about my body after speaking with Dr. Sofonio. I came in for a breast lift and tummy tuck consultation and left being told I needed to lose weight and that I was a hard case. I'm 5'2" and 130 lbs with severe stretch marks. Yes, I'm 5 lbs above my normal weight, however, he made it seem like I am obese and that is the reason he would not work on me. He said after I lost weight, my problems would go away. How about no? My problem is stretch marks that I wanted removed through the tummy tuck procedure (that I have cash on hand to pay for!). My breast lift was denied as I am a difficult case due to my severe sagging. His bedside manner was just horrible! I did not feel comfortable as he grabbed roughly at my body. I truly wish my husband was there to see the way this Dr. behaved.

I had surgery done, he had to redo it and still not satisfied. He can go back to school to learn a few more techniques
