Personal A life-long Minnesotan, Dr. Solfelt loves all aspects of Minnesota life. He is married with three children and enjoys hiking, swimming and boating. His greatest avocation is music he enjoys singing, song-writing and playing the piano. Most of his original songs focus on finding hope and faith in the midst of suffering. Dr. Solfelt also serves on the board of directors for A Breath of Hope Lung Foundation, a Minnesota-based national charity dedicated to research, raising awareness, and supporting those affected by lung cancer.
