Dr. Mark Stechschulte, MD

My husband was referred to Dr. Stechschulte by his primary care physician. Our first appointment was on a Friday during which the doctor reviewed his medical records including his recent hospitalization due to a fib. The doctor scheduled an endoscopy and colonoscopy due to my husband having blood loss from an unidentified location. We followed all directions for both procedures and arrived at his appointment at his scheduled time. Two hours later, my daughter checked to see if the procedures had been completed. She and I were told that they were on hold until his cardiologist faxed approval except no one at the office had contacted the cardiologist. We know this to be true because we called the cardiologist office and they confirmed this fact. When we expressed our concern the doctor cancelled both procedures. His lack of compassion for a patient who was losing blood made me question his competency as well as his compassion for his patients. Our family will no longer be patients at his… practice.

He has become an incredibly valued professional resource for both my wife and I. His beside manner is impeccable and always gives you whatever time is needed to discuss your issues. Just an excellent, excellent physician.

I've had 3 colonoscopies with this doctor. He is excellent!

Dr. Stechschulte knows alot about the digestive system and is very caring. His approach in treating patients is to let them live their lives to the fullest.

My son saw Dr. Stechschulte last July. I was very impressed with Dr. Stechshulte and his staff. Dr. Stechschulte never gave up until he found what was causing my son so much pain. Unfortunately, he could not treat my son's condition, but referred him to another specialist who could and has been. Dr. Stechshulte personally made the appointment with the dr. and personally called my son and told him what he thought could be wrong.
