Dr Stern is a good Doctor He sits down and explains your situation with you that is what I like. He also has a nice staff also so if you are looking for a Gasterology Doctor He is the man.

Nice, thoughtful, and really helped me with my issue

Dr. Stern is wonderful, I would never use any other gastroenterologist, and the nurses and assistants who work in the "back" room where all of the procedures take place are kind, efficient, professional and just plain fabulous. However, each time I've checked in for a procedure (four times so far), the person I had to deal with at the front desk was rude, snarky, even downright nasty. Not only that, she didn't know what she was doing and WOULD NOT LISTEN to any explanations of how payment was supposed to work, even though it had all been sorted out in advance. The first three times, I had to pay up front and get reimbursed the several hundred dollars from the insurance co. rather than her billing the insurance co. directly because she did NOT know what she was doing. The fourth time, Dr. Stern's office wound up reimbursing me because the insurance company had been billed, too, and had to call Dr. Stern's office repeatedly to get it straightened out.Dr. Stern is far too good a… doctor to have such stupid people working for him!
