Dr. Mark William Stolar, MD

I have never had a better doctor than Mark Stolar, MD. He is bright, knowledgeable about a whole host of illinesses, and the kindest doctor imaginable. I no longer live in Chicago so have had to make do with other doctors, all good but no substitutes for Dr. Stolar. I do miss his warmth and winning smile and ways.

Dr. Stolar is by far the best endocrinologist I have ever been to. My other provider went concierge and having to look for a new Dr. was dreadful. Mark Stolar changed my life. He is a genius and takes care of me from head to toe. Excellent bedside manor and genuinely caring. I’m very blessed to have found him. I am a huge advocate of being healthy and he’s above and beyond excellent.

Dr Stolar has been my husband's Dr since 1997 after his thyroid surgery, shortly after that he became my doctor and my mom's doctor. Me and my mom have alot of complicated issues and Dr Stolar is better than any Mayo Clinic doctor we had ever seen (we had been going to Mayo Clinic since 1985) he provides you with the very best care, explains everything so it's easily understood, he addresses all your issues and never rushes you, he goes above what most doctors would do for their patients. He always makes you feel relieved, relaxed and you leave knowing you got the best care. Any patient lucky enough to become his patient will be one very blessed patient.

I have been a patient for at least 25 years and have never been to another Endo since I met Dr Stolar. He is awesome, thinks outside of the box, uses top notch medications, really knows my conditions and how my body works to find the medication right away that works. I know most people are not thrilled with their doctors, I have referred so many people to him over the years and everyone loves him. He is great in physical appointments and followup questions via their patient portal. His nurses are very quick to respond and have nothing but positive things to say about him or his staff. Dr Stolar is the best there is and Northwestern should be honored to have him as a top Endo as well as a professor teaching the future doctors to replicate his expertise.
