Dr. Mark R. Stone, MD

I had Dr. Stone as an oncologist when I was diagnosed with breaat cancer at the age of 25. One thing I asked him was if I should be concerned about pregnancy after chemo. He said no, I'm young and I should be able to have my period again and it would be fine, no need to freeze my eggs. You could imagine my surprise, when years later, I have 3 doctors tell me that I would not be able to carry a baby due to the sub-type of cancer I had. All of us were shocked by Dr. Stone's either lack of knowledge or lack of communication on this subject. His misleading information changed my life in such a negative way, i can't even explain it all here. My cancer is now back and is stage 4. I recommend seeing any other doc if possible. He made me not want to trust any oncologist ever again. This is just one example of how he failed me as a patient.

Health care plan coordinator (for insurance approval for treatment) was not trained. Other staff mis-stated progress of insurance approval. I had to find and supply TRICARE form to get approval process started. No status updates without multiple prompts.

He makes his patients wait on a lab review, no one returns calls with lab results- good or bad. I feel like once he seen my medical record he treated me different.
