Dr. Mark A Swisher, MD

He saw my husband because his primary doctor was actively deployed. He answered more questions & provided more care in one visit then my husband has received in 10yrs. Really amazing doctor!

Dr Swisher was my mother's physician. She was a veteran, but he saw her in his private practice and when he was visiting patients privately in their homes. Mom saw a NP at the Veteran's hospital in Lexington as well as seeing Dr. Swisher when he was part of a medical group. My impression, as a registered nurse who accompanied Mom to many appointments and as her health care surrogate, is that Dr Swisher is an excellent physician. I believe that when he is closing his eyes, he is concentrating. As another reviewer noted, he is known to call patients at home. He called Mom at home with lab results in the evening and I found that extraordinary. How many physicians do that? Anytime a physician recommends lifestyle changes over medication it shows that the physician is not just pushing medication. -Jean's daughter

One of the most uncaring, people you will ever meet. Not interested in helping his patients at all. Keep you friends and family away from this idiot.

Dr. Swisher would sit across from me in the exam room, and proceed to talk to me with his eyes completely closed. Do you know how much information you get from looking at your patient? Refused to give me high blood pressure meds, stating if I stopped smoking it would go down- it didn't. I have never seen a more ridiculous behaving doctor.

Exceptional physician! I feel fortunate to have a clinician of this caliber and he cares, what a bonus these days.

Dr Swisher is an excellent doctor who really cares about patients. He recently called me at 8:00pm with some test results that I had wanted to know. How many doctors would do that?
