Very knowledgeable professional. Had my ear hearing normally in less than five minutes. Excellent staff.

I would like to see the results of the test. The portal says to contact office. The office says to contact portal?!? He doesn’t feel I need the implant. He says I’m going to have to get used to the idea of spending a lot of money.

Long drive for an early appointment. Front desk staff was friendly enough. After a short wait followed by a very preliminary hearing test I met Dr Syms who sarcastically chided me for suggesting I needed an implant. My ENTs conclusion- not mine. Other than a rocky start he was courteous & professional. I have detailed testing scheduled very promptly. Then I can decide. If it is a case of a good physician with less than ideal bedside manners

The hearing test was very informative, my conversation withe Dr. Sims was very informative. He explained what was to be done to put a cap over my ear drum to improve my hearing in my left ear. Dr Sims seamed to have a very caring attitude for patients to have better hearing.

Dr. Syms and Staff were friendly and very respectful, I felt comfortable while I had my test, Dr. Syms came in and explained my results, which I wasn't aware of some of the things I would do, until he explained why I do them. He is an excellent Doctor! I'm glad I had myself checked out. Thank you Dr. Syms and thank you Staff! For your expertise!!!

Very comfortable, he explained everything, explained what he can do. I really liked him. Very quick as well.

Dr. Mark Syms examined me throughly and answered my questions.. I do understand that surgeons are very busy but he did not keep me waiting. Not only did he have good bedside manners, but the day of the surgery he made me feel he would correct my problem and I would get my hearing back. I truly would recommend him highly.

Dr Syms was nice and thorough. He was a little behind for the appointment , but not too bad. (I think 20min.) Unfortunately, his support staff needs much improvement.They were not friendly and not very helpful. They made me feel like me being there was an inconvenience.

By far the worst experience I've had with a Dr, was referred to Dr Syms, drove over 200 miles for this appointment in the hopes of seeing a specialist who could possibly help us, he did not even take the time to look at a chart or hear us out, was sure it was anxiety causing the problem , saying he was the professional we shouldn't question him, talking to us like children who couldn't possibly understand anything, instead of maybe taking the time you see if there was something possibly wrong with the ear, because we had been to a ENT previous he assumed there was nothing wrong. Very uncomfortable from the time he sat down, very unprofessional, very condescending, utterly rude,nobody should have to endure such treatment from a so called professional , really what were we charged for harassment? Stay away from this office.The one star had to be added, not mine.
