Despite his excellent reputation, Dr. Talamonti turned out to be a nightmare. He told me I had a pancreatic mass and needed a Whipple procedure. When he performed surgery, there was nothing wrong and as a result of the damage he did during surgery, I have been on IV and J-tube feeds for a year. After surgery when I told him something was wrong, he ignored me until I was so sick I ended up at the Mayo Clinic to fix the damage he did. Not to mention the $500,000+ spent on medical care.

Dr. Talmontti saved my life. I had surgery in 2004. He told my kids that the surgery went well but you can never tell if a few cancer cells traveled during surgery. He told them if some cells traveled I would have six months to a year. Well, I am still here twelve years later. I was blessed and have been able to enjoy four grandchildren that were born after the surgery.

This doctor is the whole package! brilliant surgeon with a bedside manner.

Seemingly, self-disciplined, very organized. This, to me, reflects in his mastery of the Whipple procedure.

Dr. Talamonti performed the whipple 5 years ago for ampullary cancer, a little known-about cancer. He is a very knowledgeable, skilled and compassionate surgeon! While many surgeons think they are God, Dr. Talamonti gives credit to God for his abilities! While the wait times to see him were sometimes a little long, he never made us feel rushed and was always willing to address all questions! Thank you Dr. Talamonti for saving a life!

15 years ago I met Dr. Talamonti. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of him. He saved my life abd I will be forever thankful to him. He is always in my prayers
