Dr. Mark Ernest Thompson, MD

Mark Thompson - NE OBGYN Women, please never go with this doctor. I saw him back in 2009/2010 when I was pregnant with my son. I decided part-way through to go with a mid-wife. I let the front office know at my last appointment when they were trying to schedule me for my next appointment. A while later I got a letter from him that I was terminated. I was surprised but didn’t think much of it. Now, it is 2019 and I called to schedule an appointment with a different doctor there only to find out that when he terminated me he banned me for life from four practices and twenty doctors. All because I switched to have my baby with a mid-wife. I did nothing wrong for him to do this to me. Completely shocked is an understatement. Management has talked it over and have decided to uphold his decision. I’m very surprised that they run their practice this way. I wonder how many patients he’s done this to? There was never any conflict or words said so this was very surprising. I will say… he never came off as caring and the mid-wives found a huge issue on my very first visit so I am eternally grateful to them because I would’ve lost my son if it wasn’t found (even they were surprised). This guy is a huge egotistical jerk. I’d avoid him and this practice at all costs. Who bans someone from twenty doctors because I decided to use someone else? Not ethical.

Dr. Thompson is amazing doctor and very knowledgeable. Plus is that he is very hot too.

I recently had a complication from a procedure (by a different doctor) and when I ended up in the hospital they were able to contact Dr. Thompson's office and turn my care over to him. They were able to get me all fixed up and Dr. Thompson was there in the hospital at 6am to check on me and explain what had happened. After several follow up appointments he still contacted me by phone to check up on me (he actually called me, NOT his office staff)! He is very compassionate, caring, and really takes the time to explain everything to you. I am very thankful for everything he did for me!

I had to come to Dr. Thompson as a new patient with problems. I was having a hard time getting into see my doctor and decided to see Dr. Thompson instead...something I am very glad for now. I had bigger problems than I knew at the time and Dr. Thompson, who was only meeting me for the first time, focused on me like a laser beam. I was impressed on how seriously he took everything I said and the quick action he took on getting to the root cause of my problems. He went into high gear for me quickly and did all the necessary tests immediately. He performed a radical hysterectomy on me, which went very well. I thought his attention to detail was exceptional. He communicates very clearly and directly. He doesn't sugarcoat anything and prepares you for the worst but also made sure he gave me the optimistic statistics and encouragement. He educates you on all aspects of your situation and options and tells you what, if any, are his preferences. Following my surgery, he educated me on my… anatomy (things that were different about me due to earlier c-sections) and I also appreciated that. I like to be involved in my healthcare and understand my body. Knowledge is power to me so I appreciate more information, not less. I found Dr. Thompson to be focused and very professional but also caring and easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend him.

He listens well, is friendly, not arrogant. He took care of me during two of my pregnancies. He delivered one of my children. Everything went well.

He was the on call doctor for my c section and botched it. Don't trust him with your dogs let alone youself
