Dr. Mark Adam Tratenberg, DO

I had an absulte horrible experience with Dr Tratenberg. Not only did he not listen to a word I said or my concerns but I have been to 3 rheumatologists in the past 18 years. He not only did not examine me he had zero compassion or empathy for my situation. I have been bedridden now for over a year, cannot walk without assistance or an electric scooter, I feel as though I am dying a slow death, my pain level is an 8-10 everyday 24/7. I have tremors, cannot shower, do any household chores or stand up longer then a minute. He came in and already had paperwork diagnosing me with fibromyalgia(like I said...no exam!!!! Guessing you just read my previous records) He did not take any of my other symptoms into consideration in which I was told by my last rheumatologist I have an autoimmune disorder that is so complex it will take work and time to get to the bottom of it and she worked effortlessly looking into my history, examining me thouroughly and thinking outside the box. She was brilliant… and put it all together why I have suffered for 20 years. If she didnt leave the practice and still took my insurance I would still be with her and she would not have given up until she figured it out. Her practice no longer took my insurance after one month or I believe she wouldve figured out what was wrong. His advise was to exercise, do yoga, PT and take vit D and B12. If you are someone like me searching endlessly for answers and a dr who cares about you as a person I highly suggest staying as far away from this dr as possible. I was praying I found someone who cares and left crying my eyes out as I feel I will die before I get the answers I need. If this dr thinks I dont know what the best thing to do for fibromyalgia is after having it for 20 years he must think Im an idiot. To bad I cant walk, move, shower, tremor, barely dress myself, eat, doesnt absorb nutrients, have sores, rashes and bruises all over my body or barely make it to a drs appt. But he wouldnt know because like I said he didnt even examine me. Ill get on that yoga doc...thanks for your compassion!!!!! Livid patient who will never go back!!!!!!!

Dr. Tratenberg does not treat RA as a whole, the rashes, pain, etc. He simply confirms you have RA, provides a script, and he's done. After speaking to a pain dr., he recommended I seek a second opinion with a new RA doctor, provided the name and tel.#, a doctor who treats you as a whole with RA.

Dr. Tratenberg gets an excellent over all rating. He's not afraid to make a diagnosis and to go forward and treat a serious condition. Many doctors do not as these diseases are somewhat illusive and inconclusive on blood tests. Good job Doctor.

I Liked Dr. Tratenberg very much. He spent a lot of time with you. He did not rush you. But after about a year going to him he said he could not help me & didn't know what else to do for me. I feel like he just gave up on me.
