He saved my daughter's life at 9 months old and she is now 19!

Dr Turrentine has done 3 heart surgeries on my daughter, a BT shunt, and two open heart surgeries. The first open heart surgery went great but her recovery in the ICU was very complicated. I like that he was very open about when we should worry and when we shouldn't. He saves so many lives. He is amazing.

Dr. Turrentine has done a series of 3 heart operations on my son, one at 9 days old, one at 14 months and one at 3 years old. He truly cares about his patients. Although going through all of this was terrifying, he made sure we knew what he was thinking at all times. We always knew what we were up against. My son is now 8 years old, has absolutely no restrictions. He plays hockey and baseball! Thank You Dr. Turrentine!!

In 1999 Dr. Turrentine did a heart transplant on my brother, Chris. Through the entire ordeal, Dr. Turrentine patiently and thoroughly answered all my family's questions. On the day of the surgery, I could see the determination in Dr. Turrentine's eyes and in his words. I have no doubt that Dr. Turrentine did everything humanly possible to save my brother's life. My brother didn't make it (because at that point he had had so many surgeries and his condition was just so bad by then). When Dr. Turrentine came to tell my family the bad news, I could see the hurt in his eyes. Til this day, I am totally comforted by all the effort he and his staff put toward saving my brother. I know my brother received the very BEST possible care. If I ever have to have a similar surgery, I won't allow any doctor other than Dr. Turrentine to care for me.

We couldnt thank this man enough our babies 2 weeks old today and dr turrentine has made this rough road less bumpy.

Dr. Turrentine has been my son's doctor since he was a toddler. He is now 9 1/2. My son has a chest deformity and needs several tests when we comes in for a visit. His receptionist Bonnie is the best. She knows we live hours a way so she schedules everything in one day for us and then Dr. talks to us at the end of the day and goes over all the results. The entire staff is so kind and makes us feel very important. I know they care about every person who walks through that door and that is why I will continue to drive to him no matter how far away I live. I sleep at night because of Doctor Turrentine!
